So last night i was at small Group..

Mr. Fuller and Mr. Pratt were talking about what "servant" means..

Mr. Fuller asked everyone _What it meant to be a servant?_

andd _is being a servant bad?_

All the little Pratt and Fuller boys answered!

"YES!"

then Mr. Fuller said "What about what Paul said in Romans 1?"(Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus)

and Mr. Pratt "What about when Paul appeals to Philemon to free Onesimus?"(in Philemon)

they read the verses:

[⁸ Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do, ⁹ yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. It is as none other than Paul—an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—¹⁰ that I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. ¹¹ Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me

Then all the little kids said "uh....Both..its a good thing and a bad thing"

then they got into What about the verse about serving God? and Money?

It was very cool to hear the little kids talk about it...well some of things they said were not true, like what Ben Fuller said "It is a good thing...i am a servant to my parents"(silly boy)

And Mr. Fullers answer to that was "Your not my servant Ben! your my son!"

The word "servant" is used 767 times in the Bible(NIV)...

Hey! even Jesus served!

In John 13, Jesus washed the Disciples feet...

^[12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them.¹³ “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. ¹⁴ Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. ¹⁵ I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. ¹⁶ Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. ¹⁷ Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.]

Ah...so No being a servant is not bad! but WHat are you serving?

Oh and the bible also talks about real servants in Colossians 3 (slave/servants obey you masters)

so my challenge for you is to LOOK(Ask God to show you) at what you are serving!

Are you serving money? yourself?

My Master, Father, Maker and Savior is what i want to serve!

I want Christ to be my center! THE center of my Life!

(Its a life long struggle...ha ha but really..my Father has everlasting and never ending love)

Last night was amazing!

Things about yesterday!

1. Psh i am a girl so i will start with Shopping! Yep i went shopping yesterday...took my mom out for Lunch too! (I love her so much!)

2. I LoVe Trip lee (in fact i bought hes CD anddd i am listening to it right NOW)

3. Never wear a sweat shirt to Club 3 degrees :) its not smart! (You are crazy if you do! andd that is not a insult)

4. I got glared at by two creepers....oh shoot...

We (JoJo, Bethy) started this thing yesterday...

I insult people i like...

we had a interesting time last night....insulting people....ha ha

So at the end of the day i got home at 12:50...

went in side and WENT STRAIGHT to bed! that did not last long though...i was up a few times

ALMOST fell asleep in Church :S not goood..

I know his Grace is amazing face it
