Friendship

I just got done watching "The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants" 
I love the subject, the idea of it...but to say "You should watch it!" i would have to say that there are a few parts i wish i could take form the 1st movie and a LOTS more from the 2nd! 
Just in case you have not watched it i will tell you about it the characters!
You have 4 friends! they have been friends since their Mom's met when they were pregnant with them!


One is a Artist, Lena, shy and cautious! She is a painter [I like her better in the first one]
Lena had the best childhood of the four, easy but she is the shiest! and scared to follow her heart!
she justifies and over thinks everything!

Second is a Writer, Tibby, her look on life is...that everyone she loves will leave her! she is kinda mean, she is very expressive, she is afraid of letting people close to her or knowing how she feels or even feeling! she feels like a outcast, in the first movie she was the one left at there home town, when everyone went somewhere over the summer!

Third is Actor, Carmen, [drama queen!] first her Dad leaves when she was little then remarries! she sometimes thinks too much, very organized! and has a temper! she is kinda like the glue keeping the four together! Very close to her mom! and she actually does not become a actor until the second movie [I like her in the second one better]

Fourth is a Athlete, Bridget, the strongest, the boldest, she has the saddest past...her mother committed suicide, she looks like she has it all together, She is also the most daring and courageous, often acting on impulse rather than reason. She usually does not think twice before doing something no matter how dangerous it is. Despite seeming to be the strongest of the four, she is actually the most vulnerable!

Today is just a day

I am glad we have technology! Computers, Internet, phones, ipods!
Being able to write a letter(Email) to someone and them get it like Seconds after you send it!
Listening to music when you take a walk outside!! Say whaatt?
Laptops! sitting in a McDy's and chatting with people ONLINE! and Listening to music! And filling out applications! WHAt!!?
Its amazing! truly amazing how people thought up this stuff!
I have something you should consider!
Ok, you like music! Headphones in and singing along with your favorite song ever!
But what if you could not hear? If i lost my hearing...awh that would be AWFUL!
Not hearing your friends! not being able to listen to your favorite band or singer!
OK, how about those eyes! Not seeing...this one bothers me the most! the thought of not seeing...it scares me! Not seeing the people you love! not seeing the sunset! or a kitten! not seeing where you are walking!
How about you nose!? Most people say they don't like there nose! but could you live with out one?
Not smelling freshly baked cookies! blooming flowers! or the smell of fire! I love smells...

I am s0o very thankful for what God has given me! Ears that can hear! Eyes that can see! and a nose that can smell! and so much more! God is my favorite artist and composer and designer!
